Died May 22, 2009, Redlands Community Hospital in Redlands Ca after and illness.
Jim has been a resident of Redlands since 1982 and recently retired from the County of Riverside Department of Social Services.
Beloved husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by wife of 45 years, Barbara of Redlands, daughters Dianne Luine and Lori Strong, and son Robert Strong, all of Redlands.
Also survived by six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Melanie, Elena, and Nicholas Luine, all of Redlands, and Marcus Strong and Nevaeh Carroll also of Redlands. A seventh grandchild, Anthony Luine, preceded him in death in 2001.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29 at 1:00 pm, at Bobbitt Chapel, 1299 E. Highland ave in San Bernardino, Ca.
Burial will be Monday, June 1, XXX:00 am, at Riverside National Cemetery.
